The Greenbelt Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad Inc., presented the "Fire Fighter of the Year" award to F/F Adam Anthony-Pyndell during our annual banquet held last month.
Other organizations throughout Greenbelt and Prince George’s County also recognize the hard work and dedication of our members. The Greenbelt Knights of Columbus chapter invited F/F Anthony-Pyndell, Chief T. Ray and other members of the organization to attend a banquet and awards ceremony this evening. F/F Anthony-Pyndell was graciously recognized for his tremendous efforts by which he initiated life-saving CPR to a patient who had suffered an "unwitnessed" cardiac arrest.
Adam’s incredible devotion to the fire service and the citizens of Greenbelt have allowed him to become the epitome of what a “Fire Fighter” truly stands for and we are proud to have him recognized in such a manner!
