Greenbelt runs one overturned on the Parkway

Just after 1300 hours, units from Greenbelt, Riverdale and Berwyn Heights were dispatched to Southbound 295 for a personal injury accident with one overturned with possible entrapment.
Engine 351 and Ambulance 358 were first arriving on the scene with U.S. Park Police. After doing a quick 360 check of the vehicle, units were quickly advised that the single occupant of the overturned vehicle managed to escape the wreckage and was standing on the side of the roadway. Patient care was promptly initiated, and the occupant was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
Engine 351 was back in service in just under 35 minutes.

On the afternoon of Friday, February 25th, 2011, the Volunteers at Co. 35 received a phone call at the station from someone reporting an auto fire on Lakecrest Circle in the first due. Engine 353 responded to the scene and quickly extinguished the fire with the front jumpline.
